Christmas Light

Posted by Jonathan Trentham

Our Christmas lights are so small and white
Covering the landscape and filling our sight
But one Christmas Light shines brighter than all
It's the Light of the world, wrapped up in a shawl

Without a place to have His first sleep
The Shepperd from heaven lay down with the sheep
Silent and holy, he laid down his head
News of his arrival had already spread

Born of the Spirit and pure as can be
He came down from glory to set us all free
God's Gift from heaven was not one of might
But a small baby boy, the true Christmas Light

And, like Liz, love the new chipmunk picture! That is hilarious! : )

Great poem and picture. You should put them on a Christmas card.
